National Socialism in Vienna
The whys and hows of the development and consolidation of national-socialistic ideas in Vienna have been a taboo in Austrian history for a long time. This book provides a detailed overlook on the mechanisms of control and manipulation of individuals and groups during the Nazi-regime, using Vienna - in the years following 1938 - as an example. Since its release 1978 as the first sociopolitical history to be concerned with the National Socialism in Austria, this book has been revised and supplemented. It is a standard work and has lost none of its relevance.
